Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Family has released official statement confirming South Korean illustrator, Kim Jung Gi, has died. (Read More Here).




According to information, Kim Jung Gi, was born in 1975 (which means he died at the age of 47).


Taking to social media, Kim Jung Gi’s family, shared the official statement. Kim Jung Gi reportedly died of chest pains. Kim Jung Gi died in New York, United States of America.

“It’s with a great sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of the sudden passing of Kim Jung Gi. After finishing his last schedule in Europe, Jung Gi, went to airport to fly to New York, where he experienced chest pains and was taken to a nearby hospital for surgery, but sadly passed away. 


“After having done so much for us, you can now put down your brushes. Thank you Jung Gi.”


Taking to social media, Cat Media, revealed that the popular artist and painter from the Republic of South Korea, Kim Jung Gi, has died. 


Cat Media wrote: “Kim Jung Gi died of a heart attack last monday in Paris, where an exhibition is currently dedicated to him at Daniel Maghen gallery ;_; (which will stay open until October 8 as planned and in agreement with his family).

Able to memorize everything he sees and render it in the form of a drawing, KIM Jung Gi is considered a genius. This phenomenal talent has earned him invitations to the four corners of the world, to all the biggest fairs and festivals, to perform graphic performances, “drawing shows”, during which he draws large freehand frescoes.


The exhibition presents more than a hundred works, large format illustrations made during his performances, erotic drawings, illustrations inspired by Korean folklore, and shows the extraordinary imagination of this artist through the incredible diversity of its production.
