Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign is addressing things head-on amid claims he was “robbed” of an award by Memphis rapper GloRilla at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards. (Read More Here).




At this year’s ceremony, rising rapper Gorilla was left speechless after being called the “Breakthrough Hip Hop Artist” of 2022. This was also a big moment for the newcomer as this marked her first-ever award recognition. However, GloRilla wasn’t the only person left in shock and awe.

Several fans took to Twitter to vent about the surprising fact that GloRilla beat out fellow successful up-and-coming acts like Baby Keem, Blxst, Doechii, Five Foreign, Nardo Wick and Saucy Santana. While social media called out BET execs and the rest of the industry for playing politics, Fivio jumped in to clear things up. He tweeted, “I did not get robbed.. GloRilla won cuz she deserved it & Im happy for her [blue emoji heart].”
