Taking to social media, Cat Media, revealed that the popular artist and painter from the Republic of South Korea, Kim Jung Gi, has died.
Cat Media wrote: “Kim Jung Gi died of a heart attack last monday in Paris, where an exhibition is currently dedicated to him at Daniel Maghen gallery ;_; (which will stay open until October 8 as planned and in agreement with his family).

Able to memorize everything he sees and render it in the form of a drawing, KIM Jung Gi is considered a genius. This phenomenal talent has earned him invitations to the four corners of the world, to all the biggest fairs and festivals, to perform graphic performances, “drawing shows”, during which he draws large freehand frescoes.
The exhibition presents more than a hundred works, large format illustrations made during his performances, erotic drawings, illustrations inspired by Korean folklore, and shows the extraordinary imagination of this artist through the incredible diversity of its production.
Throughout the duration of the exhibition, the Daniel Maghen gallery organizes drawing shows and free signing sessions. This will be a rare opportunity to see a master of drawing create live large frescoes from his imagination. An unmissable appointment.
