A drunk driver is alleged to have killed a pedestrian and injured another at Jalan Banting-Kajang last night.
According to PDRM, the driver, who was coming from the direction of Kajang Sentral, had hit two sisters who were crossing the road.
One of the women, who was 27-years-old, was pronounced dead at Serdang hospital.
Meanwhile her younger sister, who is 25-years-old, suffered serious injuries and was sent to Kajang Hospital for further treatment.
The driver also rammed into several cars parked in front of a restaurant at the scene of the incident
The suspect who is in his 30s, tested positive for driving under the influence of alcohol and has been remanded for four days.
