“They took R8 000, cellphones, shoes, my tablet and R120. They gave us back R100 rands and our passports and ordered us to go back home to Zimbabwe,” he said.

The robbers then took his tablet, mobile phone and R120.

“The robbers drove off in a BMW vehicle. We have since made a police report in South Africa and investigations are underway,” he said.

Information reads: “Zimbabwean journalists came to SA to investigate crime in SA. They were robbed of 8k, belongings and fled in a BMW. The masterpiece of this is that they were robbed by their@fellow countrymen. The robbers are shona speaking from Zim.”
