Several crew members including Jess Marfisi have tweeted out that the crew for the Looney Tunes film “Bye Bye Bunny” have been laid off
The movie was scrapped by HBO Max, was being shopped around for a potential new home… it appears it could not find one.
“Every word out of Zaslav’s mouth was nothing but bullshit in it’s purest form and this damn image was nothing but a joke,” an angry fan wrote.
Taking to his Twitter page, Jess Marfisi wrote:
“hi everyone. my crew at WB just got the dreaded news that we are being laid off. please keep me in mind for any in-house design positions. I can start asap. thanks
“Hello! I’m currently available for any new freelance & full time opportunities in character design, prop/efx design, bg design, bg paint, and color design for animation. I have 6+ years of major studio exp. DM/email for NDA’d work.”
