Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that TABOO shuts down it’s doors after operating for 19 years. The owner of Taboo Chris who is the late husband of former Miss SA @vannessacareira passed on late last year after suffering a long illness. (Read More Here).
Taboo nightclub hosted many international stars like Migos, French Montana, Black Coffee, Davido, Wizkidayo and many international stars. Tier service was out of this world. The club also launched many hosteses who are now bankable influencers.
No one in SA did like them. Our Deputy Editor was lucky experience experience Taboo when Taboo was still the thing. Taboo would have been 19 years ago, even with name changing the club was still the hit.

“I can still see Chris standing infront of the door with a big smile on his face as you approached the red carpet at the circle of success. That is how we should remember Taboo and it’s founder Chris.
“Chris would have fittingly said today, “the show must go on, don’t wait for me”. Therefore with that in mind and to carry his legacy forward, I promise to rebuild something great and exciting. It’s a new era but still with the Chris Coutroulis flair.
