The Zambian Kwacha gains against the US Dollar, and is now stronger than the South African Rand.
1 US Dollar equals 16.25 Zambian Kwacha and 1 South African Rand equals 0.97 Zambian Kwacha.
Reactions from Zimbabweans and South Africans:
ZIMBABWE shall be FREE, it’s a FACT
@Doc_Kanyeta
With the Zambian Kwacha now doing better than the once vibrant South African Rand.
It’s a matter of time before South Africans have to migrate to ZAMBIA. Dismiss it, but at this pace, it will happen!
Their President doesn’t bank under his mattress. #NationalShutdown.

The Zambian Kwacha has gained value and become the 6th most powerful currency in Africa, more stronger than the South African rand.

Zambia elected a no nonsense, business minded, compassionate president and their growth rate is like 7 percent, the Kwacha overtakes the Rand and there’s peace, hope and growth. Cmon SA. Vote properly next time.

4000 white farmers were forcefully removed by Mugabe. A lot of them move to Zambia. Today the Kwacha is stronger the RAND and Zimbabwe is starving. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Mugabe and ANC lovers.

On 1 July, the Zambian inflation rate dropped to a single digit of 9.7%, the biggest drop among all African economies. Yesterday, the Zambian Kwacha became the best performing currency in Africa. Sichaba sa Naha, we are cruising nicely !!

These ones who are saying a strong currency is bad for the Zambian economy, we are moving forward. If the comrades are unhappy with the Kwacha becoming strong, they’re free to go give their advise to Mthuli !!!
