ALL the 95 girls from Lunte Secondary School that suffered a movement disorder have recovered, Minister of Health Sylvia Masebo has said.
Ms Masebo said in a statement yesterday that the school is on mid-term break, but district health teams continue to monitor the situation.
By Friday last week, 18 girls at the school were admitted for experiencing pain in certain parts of their bodies, but authorities had previously dismissed a disease.
“Tomorrow [today], we celebrate Unity Day, and it is timely for me to re-emphasise that to assure public health security, we should remain united. All of us have a role to play.
“Unity of purpose remains key to winning the war against COVID-19 and other diseases and threats of public health significance… “
