South African Twins, Matlhogonolo and Masego Mphahlele’s innovative Digital X-Ray Glasses was among the Top 3, beating 43 teams worldwide at an international technological event, Redbull Basement Global Finals in Istanbul, Turkey.
Their glasses were made to help with the backlog in the South African health-care system. They can be used to take an X-ray scan of a human, then to make a prototype.
They came third after Arizona State University, USA &
IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, Austria students
