Family of Cape Town mother, Shireen Essop, confirms her release after being kidnapped

Essop’s brother, Hamied Essop, told News24 was found on Friday night around 00:00 at Klipfontein Mission Station.

“We can confirm that Shireen was found last night, and she is safe,” Essop said.

Essop, from Manenberg, was snatched from her Toyota Corolla, near her workplace in Weltevreden Road Philippi, on 23 May.
