Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that the National Police Service Kenya have confirmed in an official statement that its officers have arrested 16 bodaboda riders. (Read More Here).
Recall that it was reported that a young lady was physically and sexually harassed by group of Boda riders on Wangari Maathai road, (Forest Road).
She was blamed for being the cause of an accident that involved their fellow Boda riders. In a statement, the NPS Kenya confirmed that 16 suspects have been arrested.
Kenya Police statement reads:
“Update on an earlier attack on a motorist.
Sixteen (16) suspects have been arrested and five motor cycles impounded in connection with an earlier attack on a motorist.
Operations continues as we appeal for more information from the public.
“Our attention has been drawn to a distasteful video circulating on social media of Boda boda riders attacking a motorist after an alleged road traffic accident. The rowdy gang went ahead and stripped the lady off her clothes. What happened today at Forest road is utterly disgusting. Protect our women!
“The matter is under active investigations. We have since identified some of the perpetrators and they will be presented before a court of law upon completion of investigations.”

According to a blogger, Cyprian, the young girl was harassed by the motorcycle riders as she was accused of being the cause of the accident which involved a Bodaboba rider.
In the trending video, the young lady is seen crying in pains as the bodaboda riders were touching her private parts in appropriately and some were beating her.
