Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that The SA Weather Service has warned Gauteng residents about disruptive rain and flooding this weekend. (Read More Here).
Residents have been warned not to cross fast-flowing streams or deep water.
Forecaster Wayne Venter said: “We had some good amount of rainfall the previous night into the morning. So, the top ground surface is a little bit saturated. We are expecting some more rainfall today and that could lead to some localised flooding.”

“A flood warning has been issued for Gauteng. The Weather Service says heavy rains can be expected throughout the weekend. Emergency Services are on high alert.
“The SA Weather Service has warned Gauteng residents about disruptive rain and flooding this weekend. Emergency services in Mpumalanga and the western bushveld of Limpopo are also on high alert.”
