Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it Trotro drivers in Lapaz, Accra and other parts of Ghana observed the strike which took effect today. According to information, the strike has been suspended by the GPRTU. (Read More Here).
In the trending video, Trotro drivers were seen playing football at Ashaiman Station when the strike hadn’t been suspended.
Early Monday Morning, commuters; workers, traders, students, etc, were seen trekking to their various places of works, schools and shops, due to the strike.
All trotro drivers honoured the strike they had embarked on.
The statement reads:
“The intended strike action which was scheduled to take effect today, Monday 6th December, 2021, has been suspended. The leadership of the union had been invited to Presidency during the course of the day.
Development will be communicated to members. We therefore entreat our cherished members to go back to their normal duties.
Thank you.”
