Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that a grade 8 female student of SeanaMarena High school, has picked up a bag containing 40 million rands. (Read More Here).
According to the fake news circulating on South African social media, the school girl was reportedly given a good citizen award by the South Africa Police Service (SAPS).
The story reads: “A grade 8 student of SeanaMarena High school in Soweto received an Good citizens award this morning after she picked up a bag. The with approximately R40Mil and she took it to rehab police, she said she didn’t take the money because she wants to focus on her studies and not on money.”
As the news began to spread like wildfires on social media, a house neighbour to the rumoured grade 8 girl reached out to Kossyderrickent to clear the air.
According to the neighbour, says that the young girl is from Chrissiesmeer Mpumalanga and not from Soweto and has never been to Soweto in her life, except it’s another girl they are talking about.
The Neighbor continued, says the young girl going viral on social media attends Lake Chrissie Secondary school, which has the same uniform as SeanaMarena High school.

“This is all a lie, the young girl stays by my house. She is from Chrissiesmeer Mpumalanga, she has never been to Soweto. She attends school at Lake Chrissie Secondary school which has the same uniform as SeanaMarena High school.”
