Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that a popular Nigerian and Abakaliki based lawyer, Barrister Ajah Ogbonnaya Esq, has been shot dead by suspected unknown gunmen along Isu-Onicha Igboeze road in Ebonyi state. (Read More Here).
The incident happened yesterday evening, Thursday, October 7, 2021. According to a source who told Kossyderrickent says that Barrister Ajah Ogbonnaya was driving in his newly acquired Highlander when he bumped into the unknown gunmen along Isu/Onicha Road.
He was shot in his head and his lifeless body lying on the ground. The unknown gunmen burnt their own cars and escaped the scene in late Barrister Ajah Ogbonnaya’s newly bought Toyota Highlander.
Late Barrister Ajah Ogbonnaya got married to his wife 6 months ago, in April 2021. He was a 2:1 graduate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and he hailed from Okposi. He was called to bar in 2015 ad he was a practicing lawyer in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state.
Shortly after his wedding, he bought his new Toyota Highlander.
A source tells Kossyderrickent:
“Yesterday I got the most shocking call of my life. “…they have killed your friend”. I panicked. Then they mentioned Barr Ajah. I’m in pain. Just wedded in April, a pregnant wife. What’s this life?. They shot you my dependable ally. Nigeria failed you.
“He was practising law in Abakaliki. A graduate of UNN.He was very intelligent. He bought a Highlander jeep shortly after his wedding. He was driving in it when he ran into gunmen operating in Onicha LGA of Ebonyi state. They killed him and left with his car after burning theirs.”
