At exactly 9:00AM to 12:34PM today, the first and second gates of FUTA were closed as students of the institution protested over the death of CEO of Naijajam, Akinleye ‘9jabaz’ Daniel, who died due to negligence from the school authority. (Read More Here).




According to information reaching Kossyderrickent, Daniel and his four friends were on there way to school (for evening lecture), when their car ran into a truck at Adesuper, close to Cathedral opposite APC office in Akure, Ondo state. (Read More Here).


After the accident had occurred, the students were initially rescued as they took them to the school health centre, where a staff told the students that there wasn’t any petrol in the ambulance that would convey them to a bigger hospital. 


They were rushed to another hospital in another car where Daniel was pronounced on arrival. The other 4 students are currently receiving treatment. After Daniel had died on Monday night, August 3, 2021. 


Students of Federal University of Technology, Akure, blocked the school gates, as they burnt tyres to protest the death of Daniel; which was caused by negligence from the gate man and school authority. 


Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Nigerian army came and calmed down everything. 


A source says: “We rushed the victims to the school to get help but the gateman didn’t allow us in. The officers at the health center said there was no fuel in 4 ambulances to convey the victims. We had to rush them to another hospital where Daniel was pronounced dead while the remaining four are lying in an unconscious state.”


Another source says: “Yesterday, An accident involving 5 Futa Students ocurred at Cathedral opposite APC office in Akure. 

A 200l Student known As ‘9jaBazz’ has been Confirmed Dead while the 4 others are Badly Injured while the Car was Said to Be Written Off due to Damage.”
