Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that no fewer than 20 young footballers of JCCI, have all died in bomb explosion in Kismayo city, Somalia.
According to a source, the young and newly promoted players were on their way from Kissimio City to Jubbaland for the preseason camp; when their bus stepped on a roadside bomb dropped by terrorist group.
A source tells Kossyderrickent:
“A roadside bomb hit a minibus carrying football team in Kismayo city. Heavy casualties feared. The security in the city has been beefed up due to the senate election which was started on yesterday. Four senators have been elected so far.”
Another source says: “Heartbreaking News 20 JCCI Football Club Players are dead after an explosion hits their team bus in Kismayo Town, Somalia.
They are all dead.”
