Residents have harvested a dead cow, one week after its death inside a gutter in Ovwian Aladja in Delta state. The incident took place on June 16, 2021. (Read More Here).

The video went viral and immediately arrested Nigerians’ attentions, which led to serious reactions and questions. Questions of famine and hunger began to fly here and there as Nigerians reacted to the video. 

In the trending video, a few residents of Ovwian Aladja were seen cutting parts of a dead cow as they took the meat home for consumption. According to reports, the cow had died in the gutter for over one week. 

But Nigerians have doubted the reports that the cow had died for a week. Most Nigerians believe the cow has been there for a day or two, but not for one week.
