According to reports, he was kidnapped in Enugu while returning from Gombe state, where his team lost to Adamawa United on Sunday.
A close source to the coach says:
“The coach did not return with the team on Tuesday but that’s all I can tell you. We hear he has been kidnapped but we are waiting to hear officially from the club management.”
According to an insider from the Nigeria Professional Football League, says that the kidnappers called on Wednesday and spoke about ransom. Negotiation about the ransom is still ongoing.
“The kidnappers are now negotiating with the club management, ” the insider says.
