The governor of Ebonyi state, Governor Umahi, has asked no fewer than 2,000 Pastors to pray and fast for him to overcome the increase rate of unknown gunmen in the state.
These unknown gunmen are gradually taking over the Eastern parts of Nigeria, especially Anambra, Ebonyi and Imo. There have been less attacks in Enugu and Abia state.
The prayer was reportedly organised by Ebonyi State Government following the insecurity ravaging the country. The prayer request from Governor Umahi was made after unknown gunmen attacked Jezco filling station.
In another news, unknown gunmen attacked Jezco filling Station In Ebonyi, as they shoot sporadically without any security Resistance.
The gunmen were reportedly eight in number and they attacked at about 5.30pm on Monday.
Sources say they robbed a huge sum of money from the filling station.
